I made an effort to make sure I get my 'favourites' up before the month ended and yay! I made it!
Here are a few things that I loved this month :)
Here are a few things that I loved this month :)
1. My iPhone 6. This was a gift from my parents for my birthday and it definitely came as a surprise when I received it. So far in using it, it feels like I have stepped onto a whole different level from my 4s - everything is so much bigger, brighter and clearer!
2. Daniel Wellington 'Classy St Mawes' watch. I also received this on my birthday, and I have never really been a 'watch-girl'..until now. It's basically fused to my wrist now that I wear it everyday. I also like the small watch face which does not overwhelm my smaller wrist and it adds just that bit of class to any outfit.
3. Lush 'Ultrabland' facial cleanser. My friend recommended (and bought) this product for me after telling her that my ex-facial cleanser had that 'squeaky clean' feel after using it. She said that this was actually a bad thing and recommended a oil-based cleanser that draws impurities out without stripping the skin of its natural oils or leaving it dry. This one from Lush is made mostly from natural ingredients and has proved to be a beneficial change from my old one.
4. Neutrogena moisturiser. After finishing my Garnier face moisturiser, I was in search for a new one to try out. I found this one at Kmart and after reading its bonuses on its packaging (such as being a product not tested on animals) and it's multivitamin benefits, I decided to give it a go. My verdict? It smells great, it's very smooth and it does its job of moisturising well, particularly in this dry weather.
5. Soundcloud. Also in music, I have been listening to a few playlists on Soundcloud - either my own mixtape or playlists compiled by others. I stumbled upon Jacksgap's** playlist and discovered it was just the music that didn't distract me from study because they're mostly mellow beats that I wouldn't be tempted to sing along to.
7. Oh Wonder. I have been loving this English duo this month and they are one of the few artists who produces songs that I all love. I'm not exactly sure what genre they fit into (maybe indie pop?) but I know their music vibes is sometimes what I need to wind down.

(**Jacksgap is one of my favourite YouTube channels and its creators are some of the most talented people I have ever stumbled across. Their content is amazing! Especially their travel vids)
6. Speaking of Youtube, I found a new YouTuber to follow and his name is Will Darbyshire. He makes short creative videos each week about practically anything on his mind and he seems like a pretty down-to-earth kind of guy. And I admit that I have (and will always have) a soft spot for British people.

8. Uniqlo legging trousers. I bought these simple black trousers from Uniqlo in Melbourne (don't have a picture of them because they're in the wash. #sad) only expecting them to be worn for clinic placement. Little did I know, that they will become my favourite pants to wear..not only for clinic but for day-to-day. Wish I bought another pair when I had the chance!
9. Last but definitely not least: avocados. Ever since I had that avacado toast at the Rooftop Terrace at uni, I have been loving avocados to the point where I do not hide my excitement when I see them on sale at the markets.
