Although the child that I was meant to be visiting today for my SPCH1201 observation visit wasn't there, I decided to stick around the childcare anyway and play with some of the kids for a little while. They are such precious little people who find joys in the simplest things and don't have any worries at all. If only we could all be like that...
After not having eaten dumplings for a while, I didn't realised how much I actually liked them until I started missing them. They're like the perfect snacks and accompaniment to any meal; or they can simply make up a whole meal by itself. I can eat them all day! ♥♥
I decided on a visit to New Shanghai with the boyfriend to check out the range of dumplings they had there. Each dumpling was delicately made by the cooks working hard behind the glass window that made up the front of the shop. And each one was steamed to perfection :D They seriously didn't disappoint. Wish I could've tried more!
My sister's review and more photos of New Shanghai here! :D
I'm pretty sure I have spent too much of my spare change on frozen yoghurt these past weeks, but yet the other side of me doesn't regret spending- since froyo is so refreshing and I guess, the "healthier" option of indulging in something sweet. Between Berry Me and Noggi, I'm torn..But as long as they have Green Tea flavour (which has recently earned itself a very high rank on my 'Favourite Flavours' list) I will be more than happy to spend the afternoon licking away at a cup of froyo.
I don't think libraries are appreciated enough as a brilliant source of information. People just want the convenience of sitting at home and moving nothing but your eyes and fingers.. Therefore, I have decided to make an extra effort this semester to visit the uni library more often instead of only relying on online resources.
It has been a few weeks since we said we needed a catch up and finally! this Wednesday morning we were both free (because of the Ekka holiday) to catch up. We were originally going to go to Sunni Cafe but was closed due to the public holiday, so we ventured to trusty Sunnybank Oriental instead :) It was definitely a refreshing and much-needed catch up delving into things beneath the surface of just studies and everyday life.
Something cute I saw this week :)
