hello there

I realised that I haven't shared much of my holidays, so I thought I would take this opportunity to play a game of catch up. Let's begin with a throwback to December of last year...

10.12.14 // One of the things I love doing is making dough from scratch. It's always a scary challenge, but definitely worth it when it comes out of the oven tasting delicious. This time, I invited a few friends over for a board games day + home made pizza. Pizzas included Hawaiian, potato + rosemary, and one where we basically put all the leftover toppings but ended up tasting the best..

14.12.14 // My friends and I managed to catch the last night of the World Food Markets. The crowd was pretty crazy and so were the lines. We managed to try out half of the food trucks that were there - including the cronuts, tacos, New York fries and chicken wings. Some of the food wasn't worth the wait but it was still a very enjoyable evening. Definitely one of the fun-nest night outs with friends.

17.12.14 // My cousin graduated with an Honours in Psychological Science! It also happened to be on one of the hottest days, but it was still a fun day spent celebrating with the family :)

And then Christmas happened...
Christmas has always been my favourite time of the year and this year was no different to the last where we had Christmas at the Kwong's (part one with friends and part two with the family). Despite a few mishaps, I think it will be one of the most memorable Christmases I will ever have.

And then the new year rolled around. This was the first polaroid of year. And with two of my best friends. I cannot ask for better friends than these two girls ♥

08.01.15 // Since one of my aunties is here visiting from Hong Kong, our family (+extended family) have been eating together and out more often. This time it was at George's Paragon (half price meals when seated before 6!)

09.01.15 // My parents and I visited the Brisbane International without expecting to see much because we had only purchased the ground passes (we were too late in buying the tickets to see the matches in the Pat Rafter Arena). However, we were able to watch a women's doubles semi-finals and one of the men's quarter finals matches in the outside show-courts. We also saw a few of the top-seeded players like Azarenka, Tomic and ROGER FEDERER just walking by. It was a pretty unforgettable moment.

12.01.15 - 16.01.15 // During this week, I attended Ignite Training Conference where I was able to meet a lot of other people from churches around Brisbane, learnt how to read the Bible better, and learnt the significance of atonement and how I should live in response. It was definitely a very compelling and fun week, and in which the lessons that I'd learnt and the new friends that I made will stick with me for a long time.

19.01.15 // Catch up and afternoon tea with one of my long-time best friends. Always a treat catching up with her :)

In other news, I have been discovering a lot of new music, ticking movies off my 'must-see' list, reading, and reorganising my room for the new year. I'm also travelling to Melbourne next week, so another travel photo diary and vlog should be expected after I come back :)

Now playing: Talk Is Cheap - Chet Faker
