Feasting.. Greek Style.

This post will be a whole lot of photos of food, since food is always the main character of the night at any fancy restaurant.

The first restuarant is Lefkas Taverna - a bustling restaurant along a dark and quiet street. It's situated outside the radar of the main food district along Boundary Road in West End but it didn't stop its popularity. It was still packed even on a week night!
My bf and I decided to venture out of our norm of always having Japanese food so we decided to try it out after a recommendation from my uni friend. We had Manitari - Grilled Field Mushroom filled w garlic &
melted haloumi cheese for entree, Yiros - marinated lamb served on pita bread w salad & tzatziki and Ellinikó Psiméno Kotópoulo - Baked Lemon Chicken. I would say the marinated lamb on the pita bread was the highlight of the meal, and despite each plate looking like it wasn't actually that much, it was so filling! We couldn't even fit dessert in afterward...and that says a lot.

Second restaurant is George's Paragon Seafood Restaurant at Eagle Street Pier. It was the second time going there this year and both times with family :) It is supposedly one of the best seafood places around and since I was silly enough not to order seafood the last time I went, I decided I must try the seafood this time round! So I ordered garlic prawns on a bed of rice with a side salad and chips :) There was an assortment of meals around the table and we all enjoyed the meal along with the beautiful view right outside :)
