Seoul Searching // Day 5: Until next time..

Congratulations! We have made it to the end :) haha. Our final full day in Seoul was spent visiting the last few places on our list. The first place was Han River - which was a spontaneous decision since it was sort of on the way to the National Museum of Contemporary and Modern Art. It was quite a hot day and even though it was worth walking all the way to the Han River (with that surreal and smoggy skyline), the heat really took it out of me...and so the urgent trip to the convenience store for a frozen yoghurt was definitely needed to cool down.

Just a few photos from the National Museum of Contemporary and Modern Art and Coex Aquarium. Hopefully I will have some time and also an updated computer soon for me to do a video of our trip to make up for the lack of photos and to also do the whole experience more justice compared to photos and my lousy writing.

We couldn't go to Korea and not have Korean BBQ so we made that our dinner on the last night. I don't think we picked a very local one because it was a little pricey but we still had a very authentic Korean experience as the waiter taught us how to eat all the side dishes and what goes with what sauce (there were about 5 different sauces and we didn't have a clue) and what mixes with what so to make sure we were doing it the right way.

Since we were living very close to the Myeongdong shopping streets, we went for our final round of shopping and to soak it all up before saying goodbye the next day.

Our week in Seoul was definitely quite an adventure and the memories we took away from it will definitely come up time and time again. It was a bit sad leaving but I guess there is always a next time...Seoul, we'll be back! :)
