Contrary to the routine of always going to Sunnybank Plaza for lunch, us group of girls decided to venture to this new little cafe on the corner of Station Rd and Turton St. With very clean and a still shiny brand new feel, this seemed to be the place to be on a warm Sunday afternoon like today. The menu was a fusion between Western, Japanese and Korean cuisine - definitely something for everyone.
Three of us coincidentally ordered the same pasta dish whilst the others ordered Japanese rice/udon. After lunch while were still digesting and chatting, the waitress walked over with two plates with slices of cake and told us to try it. It was an Oreo cheesecake that wasn't on the menu yet but she told us she wanted to see what we thought of it. We, of course, thought there was a catch to this..since there is always a catch if someone hands over free dessert. But there wasn't, and we happily appreciated their generosity and also the sweet, soft and simply delicious taste of the cheesecake.
New restaurant adventures always makes me happy and I can just imagine this little cafe being the perfect place to go to on a nice afternoon with some girlfriends (or boyfriend) for a coffee and cake over a catch up on life. But until that time, I will be dreaming of that Oreo cheesecake ♥
