Recipe: Banana Bread

I have kinda been obssessed really liking making banana bread lately. They are simply the best snack to nibble on :) And they smell the best when they are baking in the oven.

Ingredients:
60 grams butter
1/4 cup milk
1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
1/3 cup castor sugar
1/2 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
1 egg (beaten)
1 cup self raising flour
1 ripe banana (but I add 2 for that extra banana flavour! But it really depends on how big the banana is)
3 tablespoons of walnuts (chopped)

Method:
1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees.
2. Prepare cake tin by lightly greasing and lining with baking paper.
3. Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
4. Gradually add egg to the butter mixture.
5. Add mashed banana.
6. Mix lemon and milk together.
7. Sift flour and bicarbonate of soda.
8. Add flour mixture and milk mixture alternately to butter mixture, one third at a time. Stir gently and thoroughly.
9. Mix in nuts.
10. Pour into cake tin and bake for about 20 minutes or until the skewer comes out clean :)

And voila!
