Since I am quite terrible in keeping up with monthly favourites, I have yet again had to combine a two months together into one post. So here are some of my favourite things from February and March.

High-waisted denim shorts. These were a result of an impulsive visit to Cotton On one Sunday afternoon and another perfect example of my indecisiveness. But thanks to my friend who had the last say in convincing me to get them, they are now my favourite pair of denim shorts. A big tick for comfort.

Collette necklace. I was inspired by Claire Marshall's style to find a statement necklace for more casual occasions and when I found this one at Collette, I thought it was pretty perfect to match and spice up any plain top.

Bag from The Iconic. This has been one of my go-to bags for uni on those days when I don't need to bring too much to class so I can just chuck a few things in. The bag can be cinched on the sides to make the opening a bit smaller and I really love the calming light shades of grey and blue.

Wella SP Luxe Oil. I had been looking for a good hair moisturiser for some time now and thankfully for my friend who is a cosmetics guru, she recommended this one by Wella and gave me a sample size from her bottle to try. I must say, it smells like jellybeans, and made my thick and often frizzy hair a lot softer and smoother.

She Reads Truth. This is a devotional app (also online) that my friend recommended to me. This has been really helpful in the way that I can easily read it on-the-go, especially at uni. Each entry has a bible passage and the author's commentary on the next page. There is also plans to follow which takes you through a particular topic or chunk of the Bible each day for however long the plan lasts. Oh, and not to mention the layout is very clean and pretty :)

Sherlock. Watching this show involved a roller-coaster of emotions: at first, skepticism since there have been many versions of Sherlock Holmes already and I wasn't so sure about British shows.. then after realising that it's actually a brilliant and witty show, it lead to being very emotionally invested as it just kept getting better, and then feeling devastated that now I have wait a year before the next season comes out...

New Girl. This was the other TV show that kept me entertained during the holidays. Zooey Deschanel has to be one of my favourites actresses so I had to check this show out. If you move past the inappropriateness at parts, you can't help but to love the dynamics of the crew and their quick-witted humour.

Ed Sheeran. How can I pass without mentioning this ginger haired man with one of the smoothest voices out there. My friend and I managed to get tickets to his fast-selling concert the other week and it was one of my favourite concerts by far!

Also in music, here are some songs I liked during the past month:
- 'Sober' & 'Retro' - Childish Gambino
- 'Firestone' & 'Hold me up' - Conrad Sewell (a Brisbane artist who was the opening act for Ed!)
- 'The Bells' - Lowell
- 'Greek Tragedy' - The Wombats
- 'The Rain' - Oh Wonder
