Larder Section || Hardware Lane, Melbourne

During the past week, my friend and I travelled to Melbourne. It was a very fun week filled with plenty of food (trust me when I say 'plenty'), laughs, trying out new things, walking, shopping and all things that typically occur when you're with a best friend.

Documentation of the trip through photos and videos was, of course, mandatory (as with any other travel trips). I am very excited to share all the photos here and also a video-log of our time down there. But instead of dumping them here all at once, I thought it would be a good idea to group them into days and also the different cafes/restaurants we visited.

First up: Larder Section. This was the first place we visited after stepping off the plane. We hadn't specifically planned a place for lunch but knew it was to be on Hardware Lane. After strolling through and been tempted by each restaurant, we decided this was the place to be.

We decided on some garlic bread, 10 hour pulled pork with fried egg and salad for myself and a lamb stew for my friend. It was a definitely a hearty meal - perfect for the (unexpected) cool weather and a nice way to say "Welcome to Melbourne."
