November Favourites

I've skipped out on a few monthly favourites and I don't really know how to make up for it. But here I am again to share a few things that I have particularly liked in the past month or so.

1. In the Lonely Hour - Sam Smith. This guy's popularity exploded in the past year and for good reason. There is something about his music that doesn't make me want to stop listening (it was also my go-to album during exam block). And I am so excited for him to come to Brisbane next year!

 2. Cross-body bag by Collete. Two reasons why I got this bag: 1. I needed a bag that could fit my notebook, Bible, sunglasses case and potentially a light cardigan along with the usual essentials. 2. I needed to use the rest of my gift card before it expired. And this bag was able to tick both those boxes.

 3. Muji ink pens. Another thing that helped me through exam block were these pens. It might seem silly, but good pens helps me to keep studying (especially when I need to write pages and pages of notes). And these ones from Muji encompass everything you want in a good pen (for me anyway). Good pen = good notes.

 4. Paper crane ear rings. I found these after digging through a whole box of handmade ear rings at the Southbank markets and I knew I wouldn't be able to pass without buying them.

 5. White sandals from Korea. During my trip to Korea, we had to do a lot of walking and there came a time when my feet were just so sore from wearing shoes that were inadequate in giving support when needing to walk for long distances...until I tried on these shoes. They were the cure to my sore feet and I have not stopped wearing these ever since. Sidestory: I was doing a little browsing on ASOS and found the exact same pair (branded Birkenstocks) for 5 times the price. One of the best feelings in the world: knowing you got a good bargain.

 6. Interstellar. So this isn't a November favourite since I watched it just a few days ago but I couldn't want until the end of December to share it. I don't even know where to start in describing this movie but it was one of the few movies that had me very mentally and emotionally involved and left me feeling very intrigued. I didn't really know what I was in for when I decided to watch it but I left knowing that it is probably one of the most interesting movies I have watched in a long time.

 7. My new short hair! I have been wanting to change up my hair style for quite a while now and took the first chance I could once holidays started. I don't have a photo here but it's collar-bone length now (half of what it used to be) and it's a refreshed look that I am quite liking :)
