020714 // Another day, another cafe. This time it was Anouk at Paddington with one of my primary school best friends. We were planning to go to another cafe up the road but the menu didn't appeal to us; so we stumbled upon Anouk during our search and stroll along Given Tce.
The waiter was very friendly and the first thing that came out of her mouth was something about their smashed avocado special. We were sold after the smashed avocado part and the rest of what she said was a blur. We also ordered a chorizo, potato and spinach, a fried egg, chutney and toast to share. Both were pretty good, but I honestly cannot remember how good it actually was because we were both pretty engrossed in our conversation...8 years without a proper catch up and I'd definitely say this was a proper way to do it!
