Plenty

Meeting up with some of the uni girls is becoming a tradition each time the holidays roll around - especially since I don't see two of them often anymore ever since they changed courses. Today's choice for brunch was Plenty, which was recommended by my sister and located at West End.

We were all quite impressed with the interior - the rustic and stripped back structure and decor; and were eager to see what was special on their ever-changing menu (definitely going back to try their winter menu!). We ordered:
a) Sweet potato and ham hock hash with spinach, fried egg and Persian fetta.
b) French toast with chocolate meringue and raspberry mess.
c) Toasted apple and walnut bread with mascarpone and honey.
d) Tunisian baked eggs with merguez sausage, peppers, tarator and mountain bread.

After filling up, we ventured out to Boundary St to entertain ourselves with the little boutiques that lined the street and discovered numerous other restaurants and cafes we wanted to try out. But of course: one catch up, one place; so we saved them for future catch ups that we can look forward to.
Amidst this tedious week, today spent with the sweetest company is a break from study I definitely needed.
