Jars of Colour

Aren't these flowers just so happy? :) They're bought from the UQ markets that bring just a little something special to the middle of the week every Wednesday. Having the addition of a flower stall this year (or maybe it's been there for longer but I haven't noticed), I make the effort to walk past the stall each time to entertain my new found appreciation for flowers. Since I came to uni early yesterday, I decided to actually go into the stall, while knowing inside that I probably wasn't going to leave without buying a bunch. And of course, seeing the price ($2.50!) and succumbing to temptation, I bought this happy little bunch of daisies (and also an extra bunch of gerbera daisies for my sister). And they reminded me of a quote that I read once: "Someone in India once told me that flowers are the earth laughing." 

Gosh. I just love flowers. They're such pretty things.
