23.02.14 // The day the cast and crew of Running Man came to Australia.

When we heard Running Man were heading down under, we hoped that they would be at locations near Brisbane so we could visit them (and do a little stalking). We never thought they actually would though, so we were all jumping for joy when they were going to be arriving at Brisbane airport (right in our city!!), heading to Tangalooma and then to the Gold Coast. We definitely could not miss out on this chance so we started talking about our plan of action right away.

A group of us stayed over at a friend's place so it would be easier for us to all wake up for the drive to the airport (5am!). But of course we all couldn't get much sleep for various reasons...

Our banner made it onto a SBS PopAsia news page and several instagram/twitter accounts on the day :)

In the afternoon, we hoped to catch them again at the Gold Coast and rumour was that they were heading to Palm Beach.

We soon realised (after seeing vans and camera crew setting up) that they had rented a beach house and were probably filming inside and resting there for the night. The Running Man members eventually arrived pair by pair and some walked out to the patio area that was facing the beach where all the fans were. They all waved and acknowledged us while one even shouted "I love Australia!" Special moment #1 was when one of them (Kang Gary) was starting to walk back inside when my friend and I shouted "kagoshipda Kang Gary" and he stopped, turned around and waved at us in acknowledgement (woo!). 

They all eventually went back inside so we couldn't see them, but could often still catch glimpses of them..

All of this probably sounds insignificant to you if you aren't a Running Man fan and you're probably thinking we're crazy for being such stalkers and fangirl/boy-ing so much. And I would probably agree with you...Nevertheless, it was an exciting and surreal experience and can rest assured that I probably won't ever be able to do it again. So excited for the episodes to come out in two weeks time!
