040114 first Saturday of the year // Another fun night with the siblings! It is a never a boring night with these people and this time, we chose the new Sweet Treats Dessert Cafe at Runcorn Plaza for a hangout on a particularly warm Saturday night.
The cafe has only been open for a few weeks and it seems to have attracted quite a number of people. On this night, it was nearly full but many people were coming and going so we were able to grab a table outside. Their menu was not as extensive as other cafes would be, but considering they just opened and are probably still experimenting, it was enough. It was mainly drinks that were on offer- ranging from the typical hot coffees to the iced chocolates, frappes, soy milk and smoothies. The best part about it was that they came in nice little mason jars that just adds a bit of fancy rustic-ness to it all.
I wish I could've taken more photos of the inside where they have it's back wall as a blackboard with nice quotes and various pretty scribbles and sketches chalked on it. Perhaps next time :) which I'm sure there will be a next time since, despite the average food, it's quite a nice place to have a hang and chat.
